Lecture Content:

This 4 part, 66:00 minute lecture begins with a discussion on running mechanics and running economy, foot strike positions, ROM and hip mechanics and the importance of sprint drills in running technique and racing. Then Terrence takes it out on to the track and walks his audience through a number of key drills & concepts he uses in his training including: foot strike drills, fast leg drills, how he teaches traditional drills & what he looks for in execution. He then discusses hip positions in drill execution, what to look for in drills to assess musculoskeletal issues, running strength drills and many other ideas & exercises that any endurance coach can implement to make their program and their athletes’ running more effective. An outstanding toolbox of ideas & exercises any running athlete or coach will find useful.
